One quick step the first time

SideNotes is shared directly with friends, so macOS asks you to approve it once.

  1. Move SideNotes to Applications Open the DMG, then drag the app into your Applications folder.
  2. Try opening it once macOS may say it cannot verify the developer. That is expected for an unsigned app.
  3. Choose Open Anyway In System Settings, open Privacy & Security and scroll down to approve SideNotes.
